2 x Part Time Front of House positions
We are looking to hire two part time front of house team members to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks to a high standard, whilst working under the bar manager's guidance. You need to be able to demonstrate that you are a great team player as well as being able to work unsupervised during busy times. We require you to have GCSEs (or equivalent) for both English and Mathematics. The ideal candidates must have at least one year of experience in a similar role. Your main role will be to greet customers, take orders and serve food and drinks. Alongside serving a variety of alcoholic and soft drinks, you will be expected to mix drinks according to recipes. You will also be required to partake in cleaning duties to maintain the look and hygiene of the bar. You must be confident and enthusiastic when dealing with customers, and initiative must be used at all times. You need to demonstrate that you are passionate about service and standards by listening to customers and your fellow colleagues, engaging and building a rapport with them, and by dealing with challenging people and situations. It will be your responsibility to check the identification of customers to ensure that they are of legal drinking age, alongside monitoring the intoxication levels of customers. A standard level of mathematical ability will be required when collecting payment from customers and returning change when needed. Flexibility and overtime may be required during busy periods. You will receive a generous salary above the national minimum wages. You will also receive your fair share of customer tips and will be entitled to free soft drinks during your shifts. If successful after a 3 month trial period, a full time position may be offered.
1 x Part Time Chef De Partie position
We are looking to take on a Chef De Partie for a part time role with the potential to grow into full time once trained and the business establishes. Your responsibilities will include preparing specific food items and meal components for the food menu, following directions provided by the head chef and collaborating with the front of house team to ensure high-quality food and service. You will be keeping the kitchen safe and sanitary, stocktaking and ordering supplies for your station and improving your food preparation methods based on feedback. You will also be assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required, deep cleaning the kitchen to a high standard and keeping dirty pots to a minimum. A qualification from a catering college is preferred and past experience working in a similar role is required. You must have the ability to work well in a team and be confident to work alone. A knowledge of best practices for safety and sanitation is required, alongside a passion for delivering great food and service. You must be available to work shifts during weekends, evenings, and holidays. We require you to have GCSEs (or equivalent) for both English and Mathematics.
